Japanese food is my comfort food. Whether if I'm having a bad day or just want to eat out, I always choose to eat at a Japanese restaurant. I've tried a lot of Japanese Restos but I found the best one for me. NIHONBASHI TEI. It is located in Makati with 2 floors, ground floor serves a wide variety of Japanese dishes and the second floor serves Teppanyaki dishes Yakiniku style. One of the best dishes that they have and one of my favorites is gotta be their SALMON SASHIMI which is served really fresh, melts in your mouth and only costs 180php for 6 big slices. Next on my list is their EBI TEMPURA MAKI which only costs 220php, it has 6 big portions and it's best with mayo. There are more dishes to try like their TORO SPICY MAKI, HAMBURGER STEAK, TSUKUNE, EBI TEMPURA, GYOZA and a lot more. I personally always order jap mayo because I love to mix it with my maki. When you try this restaurant though, you just have to watch out for their slippery floors and not so accommodating servers especially during peak hours but if you want a great japanese food with reasonable prices, this is really a must try! And oh, you will always hear their version of "thank you very much" when you're leaving the place which makes me laugh every time!
